Eight important questions on Safe Food Handler Program
Cogneti publishes the Safe Food Handler program as an ANSI-ANAB accredited (ID 1243) program. As shown on the ANAB Food Handle Certificate website, your earned certificate will be recognized by Arizona, Hawaii, California, Illinois, New Mexico, Texas, and West Virginia.
Your ANSI-ANAB accredited food handler will also be recognized throughout the USA by many other state and local governments.
If you have earned your certificate through us, you can simply sign in and request a copy of your certificate or e-badge. Please confirm you earned the certificate with Cogneti’s Safe Food Handler program. If you used another program, then we cannot provide a copy!
Food handlers with some prior experience may complete the program in less than 90 minutes. Beginner food handlers may take more time
Just download the Safe Food Handler app published by Cogneti LLC. Look for it on Google Play or the Apple Play stores from your mobile device. Or just use the web app found on our cogneti.com site. Register with a name and email address, and the app will guide you through program completion.
The passing score for the examination is currently set at 70%. If your score is 70% or greater then you’ll earn a certificate.
Yes, you may take the examination as many times as you may need. However after each failed exam attempt you will need to study and complete a quiz for all course levels that are marked as a high learning need. After you complete these quizzes then you can take the exam again.
After you successfully pass the exam, you may order a physical badge (credit card size) be shipped to your street address. You may also request an electronic copy of a badge or certificate be sent to you via email.
You have several options. You may show them a printed copy of the badge or certificate. Or you may just send an electronic copy as email.
